Our year has been full of exciting happenings. We are still homeschooling and actually about to graduate someone this coming May. Unbelievable that we (well, Janelle) has been doing this for almost 13 years. Michael moved into a new division within IBM that is full of challenges. We have continued working with our company in His image - designing and maintaining websites, graphic design, and some photography. It has been a fruitful and fun year.

Highlights of the year...

  • Janelle's grandmother passed away (incredible woman of God)
  • Michael threw J a 40th birthday (with help from Mom & friends :)
  • Bryson, Reece, & Janelle ran in the Peachtree 10K on July 4th
  • Janelle & all the guys went on a high school mission trip to New Orleans
  • We booked a May 2010 2-week Italy trip for our 20th (no kids allowed :)
  • We're all on Facebook, so visit our pages to keep up (except Nicolle :)

One of the most exciting things that has happened is that we began attending Passion City Church. Our kids were ready for MORE of God (what a great thing for your kid to want MORE of), so we moved in the direction that God led. The church is led by Louie Giglio and worship is led by Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, and Christy Nockles. We have had amazing messages and awe-inspiring worship. We, as well as our kids, walk away every time loving God more and trying to seek HIS heart. Check our their website to learn more about who Passion City Church is.

Reece is a senior this year! He has been challenged spiritually, and I think he's actually glad about that. He's still with his girlfriend, Heidi :) He continues to play guitar and sing whenever he gets the chance. He finally found a job at Old Navy during this holiday season. He definitely likes the paychecks! Still praying about what God has in store for him after he graduates!

This picture depicts who David is... artistic and sometimes a little "off". David has become quite the artist this year using spray paint, canvas, wood, cardboard, etc... He is still making films for SermonSpice. You can check out his page on our website. He is a junior this year and already pulling in a paycheck from SermonSpice. The big 1-6 is just around the corner this March.

Bry is still the animal guy - Sophie is to the left and Cookie (his bird) tries to stay away from the dog. Bryson officially moved up into high school this year and is doing great! Bryson has outgrown David and Reece in height (I warned them that would happen one day.) He keeps us all laughing with his dry wit!!

Nicolle (or Pink) became a middle schooler this year moving into 6th grade. We, now, have all youth on our hands. She is way into fashion and music, moving out of the toy stage. She does her best keeping up with the guys though.
