parenting
I love speaking on the topic of parenting!
Believe me, I did not take on the thought of becoming a parent lightly. I did not want any children when first married. God had other plans. Most of my "what, why, and how" regarding parenting is communicated on my parenting website, www.parentingdots.com.
Throughout my parenting, God has given me incredible wisdom through trial and error, prayer and study. Our family has been a witness and a testimony to others around us. Our kids actually like each other, and they still like us (that's an entire lesson in itself).
I have spoken at MOPS groups, Bible studies, and local women's conferences. If you would like more information about a speaking engagement, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Message Themes:
Juicy Fruit vs. the Produce Section (What are you cultivating in your kids?)
"HELP - I Need a Plan!" (check out the If...Then chart on parentingdots.com for more information)
Parenthood is your Job! (No application required.)
Don't Give in When They Check Out (dealing with teens)
students
This is another love of mine - speaking to students (especially high school girls). I have worked with youth groups for over eight years. I have shared stories, lessons, and testimonies of God's plan and love for students.
I am available for one night guest speaking or conference weekends. My talks are usually object oriented and challenging. Below are some topics of interest, but I can speak on a subject relevant to your group.
Message Themes:
The Line in the Sand (Have you crossed it or are you close?)
Holiness and What That Really Looks Like
Honoring Your Parents When They Don't Deserve It
Girls and Guys (What's the difference and who cares?)
